About This Course
Work Values is a Level 1 foundation course that prepares mechatronics trainees for the human and ethical side of technical work. Over 40 intensive hours across one week, learners explore what work values are, why employers prize them, and how everyday choices about honesty, punctuality, respect, and effort shape a technician’s reputation and career. The course moves from the foundations of work ethic and workplace ethics, through integrity and accountability, into professional conduct and attitude, and finishes with the relational values of teamwork, communication, and time management.
Every topic is grounded in the real expectations of a modern industrial workplace and tied to practical, hands-on practice. Through video lessons, in-class exercises, an assignment per module, module tests, and a final examination, trainees build a personal code of work values they can carry from the classroom onto the shop floor and into their professional lives.
